Havasu Fight Night

!! UPDATE !!

**SEPT 14TH EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO DEC 7TH!!!!**

Thanks to everyone for their excitement and support for the upcoming event! The fight card was looking pretty promising until the final hours when a lot of our scheduled fighters began to get to begin to cancel on us. Unfortunately with amateur fights there is no way for us to force them into a competition they do not (FOR WHATEVER REASON) want to compete in.

There was no way on this green earth that I would promote and/or hold an MMA live event that I myself would not be excited to go see. I decided that your hard-earned cash would be better spent on DEC 7th at our Pro/Am fights instead!!!

So unfortunately we will have to wait a bit for the next available date at the Aquatic Center… I am excited to pay the extra money to recruit and sign contracts with proven fighters that are in the mood to enter the cage and battle for the WIN!!

Thanks,
Tyler Byrne

Back To School!

All of our students are back in school now and it is important as parents that we help to get them on task and to keep them there! It does not take long for a child to fail behind then to get frustrated and before you know it things have gone from bad to worse. Personal Responsibility and Time Management are keys to our children’s success and by instilling this we as parents not only help our children do better in school, we also help bring harmony to our households. By making things such as gaming devices and cell phone use a reward for GOOD WORK it will teach our children to earn their privilege to use and to have such things.

Our Children need our guidance and discipline and this sometimes means making tough decisions.
As their Sensei I want to help in anyway possible to make this a great school year so if there is anything I can do, please feel free to contact me!

BBQ DINNER
FUNDRAISER, RAFFLE and FIREWORKS!
SUNDAY FEB 17 3:00
RODEO FAIR GROUNDS, SARA PARK. $7.00 PER PERSON

Check out the Facebook Event and let us know if you are coming!

We will be having our annual Fundraiser BBQ and Raffle at the RODEO FAIR GROUNDS, SARA PARK on Feb 17. This has been such a great event in the past years and a great chance to meet the other families and have some fun outside of the Academy! Come enjoy some great food and fun. Bring all your Friends and Family, everyone is welcome. There will be plenty of activities for the children and a great time for the whole Family. Some of our students will be performing their competition routines and to top it off we will finish off the evening with the Winter Blast FIREWORKS show at dusk! The Raffle has been a huge success in the past but we need help with prizes to continue with that success so if you know anyone that would like to donate a prize to our Raffle it would be a great help. We are also doing our Tournament T-Shirt and we need sponsors. I hope to get many of the same sponsors from last time but times are hard and I cant count on that for sure. The T-Shirts came out really nice last time and I am hoping to make them even better this time around. If you know of any business that would like their logo on our shirt please have them contact me. Raising Money is never easy especially in these times so I really appreciate what anyone can do. Over the past years we have been able to raise enough money to pay the fees of all of our students that wanted to compete. I feel strongly that tournament experience should not exclude any student due to financial reasons! All proceeds go directly to cover the students competition fees! Thanks so much for all your help and generosity.
